Cornaa Fish Farm opens to visitors every Wednesday and Thursday during the summer school holidays. Operated by the DEFA Fisheries Directorate, the farm rears rainbow trout used to stock the Island’s reservoirs for recreational angling.
Families can see the trout, feed the fish and combine their visit with a walk through the surrounding Ballaglass Glen area. Visitors can also travel by Manx Electric Railway, with timetable and booking information available through the railway’s website.
Parking close to the fish farm is limited, so visitors are asked to use Ballaglass Glen car park and walk down. Open days may be affected by weather conditions or health and safety requirements, with any closures announced on Facebook.
