Located on the west coast south of Peel, Glen Maye is perhaps the most lush and "prehistoric" looking of the island's glens.
The main attraction is the dramatic waterfall near the entrance, where the river plunges into a deep, fern-lined gorge. Bridges crisscross the ravine, offering spectacular vantage points for photographers. The path continues down through the wooded valley, eventually emerging at a secluded, pebbly beach bordered by high cliffs. It is a moderately steep walk but well-maintained, offering a perfect slice of Manx nature.
