A popular sandy beach located in the sheltered bay of Port Erin on the southwest coast. Ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, and family outings.


Port Erin Beach is the classic holiday destination, offering calm waters ideal for swimming and floats. The bay protects visitors from the prevailing winds, acting as a sun trap on good days.


Amenities are excellent, with beach rafts, ice cream huts, and nearby pubs. The beach is accessible via a ramp, and the views out towards the Mourne Mountains of Ireland are stunning.

The beach is lifeguarded during summer months. Accessible via train (Port Erin station on the Manx Electric Railway is a short walk away), car park nearby with disabled spaces. Public toilets, seasonal beach kiosk, and ice cream stand available. Dogs allowed off-season.
