A fascinating Victorian curiosity built in 1892. Unlike a modern camera, this attraction uses a series of mirrors and lenses to project moving, 360-degree images of the surrounding harbor and bay onto a white table in a darkened room. It is one of the few surviving structures of its kind in the world.
It provides a quirky, low-tech, yet mesmerizing way to spy on the ferries and tourists below. Open seasonally (usually summer weekends).
