Description

Often called the best beach on the island, Peel Beach is a sweeping crescent of golden sand that faces due west, making it the prime location for sunset watchers.

The beach is backed by a lively promenade with ice cream parlors and cafes, and overlooked by the magnificent ruins of Peel Castle. The water quality is generally excellent, and the bay is popular for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding.

In summer, the beach is lifeguarded, making it a safe choice for families.
