The Raad ny Foillan is the island's premier long-distance footpath, looping nearly 100 miles around the entire Manx coastline. While dedicated hikers can tackle the full route over 5–7 days, it is easily broken into bite-sized scenic sections.

The official start point is the "Zero" marker at Douglas Sea Terminal. From there, the terrain varies wildly: from the flat, sandy strolls of the Ayres in the north to the jagged, vertigo-inducing cliffs of Spanish Head in the south.

Following the blue "Gull" signs offers the most complete way to experience the island’s diverse geology and wildlife.
