A18 Mountain Road, Lezayre, Isle of Man | Directions
Description

The absolute pinnacle of the Isle of Man, standing at 2,037 feet (620m). Snaefell offers a unique "mountain experience" accessible to everyone — from serious hikers to families. Visitors can reach the top via the historic Snaefell Mountain Railway (seasonal) or by foot. The most popular hiking route is a steep but rewarding 45-minute ascent from the Bungalow on the Mountain Road.

At the summit, the view is legendary: it is said to be the only place where you can see seven kingdoms at once: Mann, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Heaven, and the Sea. The summit cafe provides shelter and refreshments, but visitors should always be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions, even in summer.
