Lezayre is one of the island’s most expansive parishes, stretching from the northern coast near Ramsey into the central mountains. It includes some of the island’s most diverse terrain, from forested glens to upland plantations and mountain trails.
The main settlement is the eastern edge of Ramsey, though the parish covers quieter villages and scenic routes like the Sulby Glen and Tholt-y-Will valley. The area is popular with walkers, cyclists, and photographers, with access to parts of the Millennium Way and several forest parks.
St Stephen’s Church and the Sulby Reservoir are among the parish’s notable features, along with views of Snaefell from the highlands. Lezayre plays a key role in linking northern and central parts of the island.
